Sanitized by Cabinfresh™
We have always taken extra measure to ensure your safe, healthy, and restful stay at our cabins. You already know our standards of cleanliness are our top priority if you have stayed with us before. A common thread in our reviews is "the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in". We have always maintained a stringent policy and regimen around the cleaning & sanitation of our cabins prior to your arrival. Did you know? That sunlight kills covid-19 in less than 30 minutes. That means that outdoors is the safest place to be. Transmission risk is zero. Indoors, we are doing our part to make sure that no covid is left in the air or on surfaces. Ways we are keeping you and our staff safe:
Overview of our standard cabin cleaning process:
We take great pride in our cleanliness with a steadfast commitment to ensuring guests are welcomed with clean, sanitized, and healthy amenities to enjoy during your stay! To give you even greater confidence when deciding to stay with Cut Above Cabins, we are now taking a additional steps for your peace of mind. Our cleaning staff will be taking extra care to wipe down additional high-touch surfaces and/or spray them with a disinfectant as a final step in our cleaning process. We have also removed any decorative bedding so that sheets and blankets can be laundered between guests. Regarding hot tub usage, according to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC.gov), there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine or bromine) of pools and hot tubs actually inactivates the virus that causes COVID-19. We treat all our hot tubs with chlorine. The chemical levels are checked and maintained on a regular basis during your stay, and in between stays.

If you’re looking to get some fresh air and spend the day outside, visit the caves at this picturesque state park for an adventurous day with friends or family! The Caves Inside Ohio’s Hocking Hills State ParkThe caves inside Ohio’s Hocking Hills State Park are a must-see while visiting this serene region. Below are three caves that attract visitors from across the nation! Remember to view the Hocking Hills State Park map to see how the trails lead you to each cave. Old Man’s CaveThere is so much to see when visiting Old Man’s Cave, making it one of Ohio’s most popular attractions. This cave was naturally formed into a half-mile long, 150-foot deep gorge. The one-mile hike around Old Man’s Cave offers many unique bridges and scenic views. A stone bridge and rugged trails lead to the waterfall, and Sphinx Head will introduce hikers to unique rock formations. Also, another part of Old Man’s Cave is the Devil’s Bathtub, located in the upper gorge. This weak layer of blackened sandstone is enlarged by the swirling action of Old Man’s Creek, creating the whirlpool that is the Devil’s Bathtub. Ash CaveThis horseshoe-shaped cave (700 feet long, 100 feet deep, and 90 feet tall) is one of the largest recess caves east of the Mississippi. Ash Cave offers an upper and lower trail for hiking, each approximately a half-mile long. Across from Ash Cave lies a beautiful waterfall that freezes from top to bottom during the winter! Getting to Ash Cave is made easy, as visitors will follow the flat path from the parking area to the cave. Rock HouseRock House at Hocking Hills is the only true cave in the state park. Many natural cut-outs in the cave look like windows! If you peer through these “windows,” you will be able to gaze at the greenery of the valley below. The tunnel-like cave is located midway up a 150-foot cliff made of Black Hand sandstone. To learn more about the Rock House and its rich history, visit Hocking Hill’s Official website!
