The Hocking Hills Region in Ohio is the best place to hike through a beautiful spread of fall colors. Fall makes a Hocking Hills, Ohio, hike feel so much more special with the cooler temperatures and the clear sunny skies. Cut Above Cabins is your best bet to find memorable hiking trails in Ohio. When you stay with us, you are in the middle of spectacular fall views in the Hocking Hills, Ohio, area. We have ten cabins near all of the area’s state parks, where hundreds of miles of hiking trails await. Here are some of our favorite trails to explore this fall.
This two-mile trail will get you up close to some of the best fall colors in Ohio. The main attraction here is the Cedar Falls waterfall, which comes at the end of the trail. The waterfall spans more than 50 feet, making it one of the largest waterfalls in Hocking Hills, Ohio.
Lake Logan State Park
You’ll have to swing by Lake Logan State Park. Here you can get a start on the Buckeye Trail if you are brave enough. This trail extends 1,400 miles and covers Lake Erie to the Ohio River. With a path this long, there will be countless opportunities to take in the fall colors as you walk. We have seven cabins on the lake.
The best way to view the fall colors is to get up high. If there is one place to do that best, it’s at Cantwell Cliffs. This trail can be a difficult one to navigate, so keep that in mind, but the view is worth it.
The trails you will find in Conkles Hollow are some of the best fall hiking trails in Hocking Hills, Ohio. You will witness stunning stone cliffs and view miles of autumnal colors all around you. Conkles Hollow has two paths that total more than three miles long, including numerous waterfalls to see.

Holiday Weekends will require 3-7 nights
* Base Rates include a set number of Guests.
Additional guests are charged per person,
per night with a minimum of 2-5 nights
and is added to the base rates.
(For example: if the dates of your reservation
require a minimum of 2, 3, 4, or 5 nights,
then that applies to all additional guests.)
Summit & Big Pine includes 4 guests
($50 per person-per night over count of 4)
Frontier, Avalón Villa & Bélla Casa includes 2 guests
($33 per person-per night over count of 2)
Lake Logan Loft includes 2 guests
($50 per person-per night over count of 2)
Château Lake Logan includes 2 guests
($50 per person-per night over count of 2)
(Minimum charge for all guests is the minimum required nights of the booking)
Absolutely no unreported/unpaid day visitors
All children count except "babe in arms"
One night stays will be accepted when only one night
is available between existing booking
