One of the most significant and endearing qualities of the Hocking Hills is that it remains a fantastic vacation spot throughout the entire year. While it may not seem like it now, the holiday season is just around the corner. As autumn fades into the distance, Lake Logan State Park will become less busy, the temperatures drop, and the snow starts to pile up. Soon the fall mosaic of crimson, amber, and gold will surrender its prominence for a brilliant white blanket of fresh powder as far as the eye can see. But don’t let the frosty climate dissuade you from spending Christmas in Hocking Hills! Soon will be the time to relish in the crunch of a recent snowfall beneath your boots and the sounds of maple and oak cracking in the fireplace as a soft glow illuminates an assortment of nearby presents safely tucked beneath the tree.
